Every commission follows a simple, client-focused workflow so you know exactly what to expect from sketch to delivery.
We start with your thoughts, hand-sketches, or inspiration images. Before touching the actual timber, I build physical prototypes and mockups so you can see, feel, and visualize the proportions, scale, and details before final crafting begins.
Great craftsmanship starts with genuine materials. We carefully hand-select high-quality wood species based on grain, strength, and finish—ensuring every piece of timber selected fits the exact character and purpose of your project.
Your project is crafted with deep attention to detail, precision, and traditional care. You will never be left guessing—I share regular photo and video updates at key stages so you can see the work happening on the workbench.
The piece is patiently hand-sanded and finished using the ideal treatment for its purpose—whether that’s food-safe non-toxic oils for table/kitchenware, durable hardwax oil to bring out rich wood grain, or protective varnish and PU coats for a sleek, long-lasting shield. It is then securely packaged—or custom-crated for delicate builds—to arrive safely at your home.
